Who we are

ZapAI is a media player. We do not sell, host or recommend content: you use your own playlist.

Data we collect

From the device: an ID generated by our server, the device key (stored only as a hash), device type and model, app version, language, time zone, whether a playlist is configured and the last access date.

Country: derived from the IP address at the time of access. The IP address is not stored.

Portal account (optional): e-mail, password (hash only) and parental control PIN (hash only).

Playlists added through the portal: name, address and access data, stored encrypted (AES-256). Playlists typed on the TV stay only on the device and never reach the server.

Problem reports you send from the app.

App crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics), without data that identifies you and without playlist addresses.

How we use it

To register the device, deliver the playlist added on the portal, show the app in your language, display notices for your country, fix crashes and build aggregated statistics.

Sharing

We do not sell or share your data. Crashlytics (Google) only processes crash reports.

Retention

Devices that never connect again are deleted after 30 days. Other data is kept until you delete it.

Your rights

You can delete the device in the app (Profile → Delete account) and the account with all playlists on the portal (My account → Delete account and data). Questions: privacidade@zapai.online.
